I merged modelling into modeling, since that makes sense. I'm hesitant to do anything with model since it can refer to a model in the sense of a model of a system that you make when modeling, a model of a real world thing represented in software, or part of the MVC or MVVM or similar patterns.

If I would have to choose between them, I would not be able to tell the difference. So, yes, I think they should be synonyms. As third-party-libraries has the most questions (28), I think that is the best option for the master tag.

Merge complete. Aspect-oriented is now the preferred tag, since it provides more meaning by itself.

Done, js is now a synonym of javascript.

Looking through it, it looks like most embedded and embedded-systems questions are about embedded systems. There are few enough questions that a manual cleanup can be done after a merge. I'm just thinking about what tag should be preferred. I think I'd prefer embedded-systems, even though it's half the size. I think the tag is more descriptive and more in ...

Good idea. Created the synonym. Not merged yet, though.

There are only 7 tags about analysis. As you pointed out, algorithm-analysis, static-analysis, and dependency-analysis are already well-defined. Looking at code-analysis, this could use a little work, too. Some of the questions are really about static analysis. Others are about code quality. Others are about managing source code. There are likely to be ...

I consider that Business Rules are the business's rules, that is, policies determined by the business, i.e. specifically by business experts and those in charge of the business, who are likely non-programmers. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_rule) I consider that logic is programming and thus associated more with IT than business leaders and domain ...

Wikipedia says: In computer software, business logic or domain logic is the part of the program that encodes the real-world business rules that determine how data can be created, displayed, stored, and changed. I wouldn't be opposed to merging the two into the more popular business-logic, I almost wonder if the tag shouldn't be changed to domain-logic (...

Done. I kept client-server as the master tag, since it's the more common term. Also, Stack Overflow has the same mapping. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

For the purposes of being able to accept an answer: status-completed

Because I'm in America, I chose to use the American spelling. If you approve of this, be glad I got to this before ChrisF. If you disapprove, well, 'MURICA.

I have successfully completed the merging of these two tags.

2

Yes, these tags should be merged. Merge coding-standards into coding-style, since style is not only larger, but slightly more generic.

2

I have performed the merge and synonym.

2

This has been done. 1 question was affected by this merge.

2

Looked through the list, looks fine, merged.

2

This has been done, since it just made sense.

Just so there's an answer...I did this. And, for the record, even if ux had more questions, I'd make the master user-experience since it's more descriptive.
