I'm wondering for the sake of meta knowledge, how programmers.SE has helped you as a programmer?
I was able to answer the question of someone dealing with a personal problem by relating it to my own, and this helped me understand my problem better.
Yeah, I learned about lambda expressions and how to do them in Delphi. I thought that was a pretty cool thing and I seriously didn't know it before. I'm glad I asked.
As a "programmer" it hasn't been much help. As a "development team lead" I find it gets me thinking about questions my developers haven't voiced yet. It helps me stay ahead of the game and solve problems as soon as they crop up. It feels a bit like cheating to be honest.
